HORVATH, Elvia (1952 – 2014) A pillar of strength and grace in our lives, Elvia passed away July 31st after a courageous battle with cancer while surrounded by family and friends. Elvia, an incredible and loving mother, will be deeply missed by her sons Samuel and Alexander and their father Mark Gould. She is survived by her mother Frieda (Edward), her sister Roswitha, nephew Aaron, niece Evita and mother-in-law Milli Gould. She was the best friend and soulmate of Greta Hardy who together with her husband Bryan and daughter Jessica were a constant presence in Elvia and her family’s life. She was loved and respected by all who knew her – family, friends and colleagues all of whom will miss her passion for life, sense of humour and dedication to her family. Funeral service will be at United Hebrew Memorial Chapel, 28 Ewen Road on Sunday, August 3rd at 11:00. Shiva will be held at 3 Mayfair Place, Hamilton until Tuesday, August 5th.
