KATZ, Bernice (Reubens) Peacefully at home, Bernice (Bebe) Katz passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Irving Katz (2005) and mother of Peter, Gary (Sharon) and Alan (Patricia). Dear sister of Murielle Fenwick and sister-in-law to Mary, Henry and Ruth and Barbara Katz. Loving grandmother to Jason (Dani), Randie (Marc), Shane (Lara), Elliot (Candy), Robin (Kelly), Jonathan, Kristina and Kimberly (Jason). Bebe had 15 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers Sidney and Irwin, and sisters Reta, Lenore, and Dorothy. She was survived by many special nieces and nephews. A graveside service will take place at Adas Israel Cemetery at 575 Old York Road, Burlington on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. as per Bebe’s wishes.

I was saddened to hear the news of the loss of your mother…Peter, Gary and Alan. It has been many years since I have seen all of you..from Hamilton days and for a little while in Toronto (Gary and Sharon). How wonderful that you had your dear mother so long and have accumulated so many memories to sustain you but the loss of a mother at any age is always a grievous matter. Just know that I am thinking about you and wish that you will be comforted with all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem and you should have no more sorrow.
