LEVITT, Doreen (nee Goldhar) We are sad to announce the unexpected passing of Doreen Levitt, on September 8, 2013, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, in her 85th year. Predeceased by her parents, Charles and Belle Goldhar, beloved wife of Leslie Levitt, sister of Hershel Goldhar (Linda). Mother of Ina (Ian), Arlene (Gary), Karen, and Mark (Sheila). Loved Bubbi of Tovah (James), Anna, Norah, Brennan, Benjamin, and Barry. She was a life-long member of Hadassah-Wizo. Funeral to be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., at the United Hebrew Memorial Chapel. Burial to follow at Temple Anshe Sholom Cemetery. Shiva will be held at 70 Macklin Street North, Apt. 701 (Shalom Village) from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, on Wednesday and Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services at 7:30 p.m. Donations to Shalom Village or The Library Fund at Temple Anshe Sholom.
