LEVY, Sadie (nee Zack) Peacefully passed away, in her 101st year, at her home in Hamilton on Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Irving Levy. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Marsha and Eric Slavens, Richard and Sandra Levy, and Ira Levy and Susan Forrest. She will be sadly missed by her cherished grandchildren Randal (Shirley), Hannah (David), Malcolm (Stephanie), David, Benjamin, Liam, and Rachel and her adoring great-grandchildren Samara, Risa, Isaac, Reuben, and Sebastian. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Gordon Zack (Eleanor Nadler) and the late Sheila Zack, Lillian Zack and the late Manuel Zack, and the late Hy and Bea Zack, and Betty and Harry Joseph. Dear sister-in-law to Larry and Betty Levy, Jack and Shirley Levy, Goldie Nass and the late Willie Nass, and to the late Frances and Lou Hendricks, Morris Levy, and Mary and David Rubin. Predeceased by her parents Rose and Isaac Zack. Was a loving aunt and great-aunt to many. Will be remembered for her caring manner and love of life. Special thanks to Aida Gemillan and her team and Dr. Raefie Epstein for their outstanding and compassionate care. Funeral services will be held at Temple Anshe Sholom, 215 Cline Ave. North, Hamilton, on Sunday, August 4, at 11 a.m. Interment Anshe Sholom Cemetery, Limeridge Road, Hamilton. Shiva will be observed at 90 Winston Ave, Hamilton, Sunday, August 4, 7-9 p.m. and Monday, August 5, 2013, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
