REISS, Walter Allan Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on April 14, 2013, in his 64th year. Predeceased by his parents Herbert and Gertrude. Walter will be deeply missed by his closest friends Claire Knutt, Jamie and Patty Zimak, Steven and Sonia Start, Robin and Linda Ann Zimak, and his honourary grandchildren Riley, Samantha, Evan, Nathan and Myles. He will also be missed by his many cousins, friends, wonderful neighbours, and especially by his pets Cinnamon and Bella. Walter was a graduate of McMaster University with a Bachelor of Arts in Languages, and had been a longtime member of the Liberal Party. Thank you so much to Dr. A. Ingram, Anne Marie, Ruby, and all the nurses at the St. Joseph’s Hospital Dialysis Unit for their wonderful care over the years. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 16th at 11 a.m. at the Temple Anshe Sholom, 215 Cline Avenue North, Hamilton. Family and friends may pay their respects at 26 Desjardins Court, Hamilton on Tuesday, April 16th from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, April 17th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hemodialysis Unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital would be appreciated. He was a kind hearted and wonderful man who touched the lives of all who knew him.
