Funeral will be on June 8, 2016, 3:00 pm graveside at the Beth Jacob Cemetery, 1250 Snake Road, Burlington.
Shiva will be held at Shalom Village, 70 Maclkin St. N., Apt. 209 on Wednesday June 8 and Thursday June 9 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a service at 7:00 pm, and on Friday from 11:00 am until noon.
ROSENTHAL, Dorothy Dorothy Rosenthal (nee Kuttas) passed away peacefully at her residence on June 4, 2016 in her 97th year. She was predeceased by her daughter Deedee. Her son Blaine Rosenberg and her many relatives and numerous friends mourn her passing. Her passion for life, eternal optimism and her acts of volunteerism set a high standard for young and old. Bridge, mahjong, baking, computer and language mastery, fitness leader, avid reader and loyal Blue Jays fan describe but a few of her interests and talents. Dorothy simply set the gold standard for an exemplary life. She was truly one-of-a-kind, we will all miss her dearly. Graveside services will be held at Beth Jacobs Cemetary at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2016. Shiva at Shalom Village 70 Macklin St. North, Hamilton. Wednesday and Thursday 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Service at 7:00 p.m. Friday 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m
We are so saddened to learn of Dorothy’s passing. She was a symbol of strength and love and fashion and one who makes the most of each day. We will miss her and her absence will be noticed.
