WALDES, Sally (nee Koldinsky) Suddenly, at home in her 80th year on Monday, April 15, 2013. Beloved wife of 59 years to Egon “Ed” Waldes. Special sister to Helen Kochane and Melvin Kenton (Shirley). Loving mother of Jason Waldes (Lesley), Roxana Waldes-Wice (Brent) and Brad Waldes. Dear Grandma of Max, Leah, Nathan, Alyssa, Taylor and Lacey. Sally will be missed by many special friends, loving family, numerous extended family and friends overseas and her very dear lifelong friends Rabbi Arthur Bielfeld and Renée Sieburth. Sally truly loved the company of her family and friends. Visits from her grandchildren were the light of her life. Sally also enjoyed her outings with the Red Hats and visits to the symphony – she never missed one Brott Music Festival. Sally and Ed travelled extensively and have made new friends on every trip. Service will be held Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the United Hebrew Memorial Chapel, 28 Ewen Road Hamilton. Shiva will be Thursday, April 18th and Saturday, April 20th, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., prayers at 7:30 p.m., at Apt. 712, 700 Dynes Road, Burlington. The family requests donations to the UJA in lieu of flowers. There is a hole in the Universe.
