Cemetery: Adas Israel, 575 Old York Road, Burlington.
Shiva will take place at 85 Bowman St., Hamilton, on Sunday and Monday from 2 pm to 4 pm, and 7 pm to 9 pm with services at 7:30 pm, and Tuesday from 2 pm to 4 pm.
WOLPERT, Bernard It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Bernard Wolpert at his home in Hamilton, January 18, 2017. Bernard was the beloved husband of Moura Wolpert (2013), loving father of Nina (Harvey) and Michael (Brenda). He was the cherished grandfather of Jonathan (Amanda), Gabriel (Shannon) and Sarah Diamond, Lucy and Daniel Wolpert and great-grandfather of Eli Diamond. Since retiring from his work as an engineer at Westinghouse, Bernard was active in Canadian politics and the Jewish community. Funeral service is scheduled for Friday, January 20th at 11:00 a.m. at the United Hebrew Memorial Chapel, 28 Ewen Rd., Hamilton. His family expresses their gratitude to Bernard’s devoted caregiver Virginia Kelly. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the United Jewish Appeal or charity of your choice.
