Date of death: July 27, 2025
Murray Orgel, in his 98th year, passed peacefully yesterday afternoon
surrounded by friends and family. Murray is survived by his sons Marty
and Joe, and his grandchildren Abram, Ellen, Julian, and Kira. The
funeral service will be on Wednesday July 30th at 11 am at the United
Hebrew Memorial Chapel, 28 Ewen Rd, Hamilton. The burial will be at the
Adas Israel Cemetery (Ohev Zedeck Cemetery) at 1224 Upper James St,
Hamilton. After the burial, there will be a life celebration meal at the
Adas Israel Synagogue, at 125 Cline Ave S, in Hamilton. There will be 2
Shiva, Wednesday night, and Thursday night from 7pm to 8:25pm, also held
at the Adas Israel. Donations, in his memory, may be made to Hamilton
Jewish Social Services Food Bank.
Dear Marty, Joe and family,
Our dear Uncle Moishe is with so many of those whom have passed before him. A great long life was had. I know he will be so happy to see his wife Bert and friends and family. We miss them all and think
of them often. With sadness and joy and great memories.
