A graveside service was held at the Temple Anshe Sholom Cemetery on August 6, 2025.
John passed peacefully at home on his own terms and time, with his wife, Jan, by his side.
Predeceased by his parents, Dr. Adrian and Florence Yaffe, niece, Ellis, nephew, David and grand-nephew, Julian.
He is survived by his brother, Martin Yaffe (Connie and son Michael) and his sister, Helen Ostovich (daughter Jennifer)
If desired, a donation can be made in his name to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada, General Hospital Cardiac Unit, or Shalom Village.
