It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Meyerson z”l on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

Jeff was a beloved partner, father, grandfather, brother, friend, and longtime member of the Beth Jacob community. He will be deeply missed by his partner, Pam Zierler; his children, Sari Meyerson (Jason) and Joel Meyerson (Dani); and his grandchildren, Hudson, Aubrey, and Rosie.

Jeff was a kind, gentle, compassionate, and strong man who approached life with positivity and grace. Despite living with Parkinson’s disease for more than 35 years, he never allowed his diagnosis to define him or slow him down. He continued to live fully, always trying to find the good in life and in the people around him.

Jeff was also a respected endocrinologist who served the Hamilton community for more than 30 years. He made a lasting impression on the many people whose lives he touched, both personally and professionally.

His family is grateful for the many years of love, memories, laughter, and connection they shared with him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

  2. Dear Pam, I was with Jeff both at RBHS where we spent many breaktimes together in a group of friends and we were also at medical school together. He was a loyal friend and a very hard and diligent worker. I remember his love of football and also his sense of justice. My condolences to you and your family. Shalom.

  3. Pam, Sari, Jason, Huddy, Aubrey, Joel and Dani and your families:
We are so very saddened to learn about Jeff’s passing. It’s been a long battle, I know, and the care Pam and family have given to Jeff was unmatched. I know how much Jeff loved all the grandkids, they were the joy in his life. The few times that Jeff came to dinner at our place, or we had a visit with him, he always had a twinkle in his eye and loved good food and especially good dessert! It was always my pleasure to provide treats for him! Our thoughts are with the whole family as you navigate this difficult time. May you find strength in your memories and in each other, and may his neshama have an aliyah. Jeff, I know you’ll be dancing and walking freely now, without pain. That’s our wish for you forever. Sending love and hugs.
