A graveside Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Stanley Sobel Beth Jacob Synagogue Cemetery, 1400 Snake Road, Burlington, Ontario. The family is observing a private Shiva.
It is with great sadness that the family of Tishelle Adelman announces her passing on the 16th day of February 2023, at the age of 90 years. Tishelle will be lovingly remembered by her children, Emuna (Nachum) Braverman, Warren (Emily), and Evan (Bev). Tishelle will also be fondly remembered by her eleven grandchildren – Noah, Jonah, Leiba, Sara, Michali, Yeshia, Yaeli, Leah, Ruchuma, Batsheva and Dovid, as well as 22 great grandchildren. Tishelle was predeceased by her husband Murray (2011), brother Alvin and parents, Sam and Rose.
Tishelle dedicated many years of her life to Hadassah-WIZO and fundraising for numerous charities, including the Canadian Cancer Society and Shalom Village.

My sympathy on the loss of your mother. She will be missed. Tish was the first member of the Jewish community I met when I moved to Burlington.

Sincerest condolences to the entire Adelman family. Our Buby Rose and Zaidy Sam, ז״ל , would be very proud of all of Aunty Tishy’s accomplishments, her dedication to the Jewish community and to her family.
I spent many lovely hours with Tishelle at Shalom Village while my Mother was a resident there. We had many conversations and I think of her often with fond memories. She will be missed.
