To the family of Steven, my heartfelt condolences. I came to meet Steve through the bowling league and will always remember the smile he ALWAYS brought. His great sense of humour, his wit, his charm and his sense of fun I will carry with me. To all of you I hope you find comfort in this time of sorrow, I will have you in my thoughts.
To the family of Steven Dembe…and especially to Elaine. I was so saddened to hear of Steven’s passing. I remember him from our early years in Hamilton and later in adult phase, bumping into him a few times. Of course, Elaine, I haven’t seen you in a very long time as well. I know your family was very close. I pray that your memories will sustain you and to know that Steven’s essence will always be with you. It is his outer shell that is gone but his Neshama soul is there and the love that you all had for each other will remain. You should be comforted with all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem and know no more sorrow.

We were truly sorry to have learned of Steven’s passing. We remember, with fondness, the times we spent together getting acquainted with him and his family, going as far back as the Fineberg family reunion in 1996.
