ENNIS, Jeffrey Howard On April 21, 2019, Jeffrey Howard Ennis passed away. He was the husband of Gilda Ennis, who passed in June, 2018. Jeff and Gilda were married for 42 years and they cared for each other deeply. He was the father of four sons, Jesse, Daniel, Jonny, and Jamie. Jeff had two daughters-in-law, Nikki and Kate, and was the grandfather (Zaidie) to Hudson and Gavin. Jeff struggled with illness throughout his life and greatly towards the end of it, but he always hoped he could use this to make life better for others. With Gilda, he built the Ennis Centre for Pain Management, and was devoted to teaching others through his experiences. Together, they improved the lives of the patients they touched. Jeff was truly happy in his workshop. He loved wood-working and painting, and shortly before Gilda passed, he began learning about guitar-building on a trip the two took together. Jeff loved Gilda with all he had, and has missed her deeply since her passing. We hope he finds peace and can be with her again.
Your father was my pain doctor and previously my psychiatrist. He was more like a friend than a doctor. I offer you my deepest condolences. (Maybe a bit late. But deeply felt.)

Alan and Linda – Our thoughts are with you in both your mourning and joy at this time…the two extremes are hard to experience simultaneously…we know this from experience.
