It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Morris (Moishe) Gold on August 21, 2020. He was a loving husband to Hilda; devoted father to Michelle Gold and Sandra Apelowicz (Eddie). Zaddie to Sari Meyerson (Jay), Joel Meyerson (Danielle), Rebecca Lampert (Bryan), Marci Price (Ben) and Jessica Apelowicz. Thrilled great grandfather to Hudson, Aubrey and Lyla. He was a lifelong volunteer in the community, and loved to share stores with family and friends. Due to Covid, a private graveside funeral will take place. In his memory, donations to the Bob Kemp Hospice or Cancer Assistance Program (Hamilton) are greatly appreciated.
So saddened to hear about your loss and Moishe will be missed. So enjoyed visiting together when in sunny Florida, meeting for lunch and catching up on everything. Our thoughts are with you and sending our love.
Moishe was a really lovely man and I am so sorry for your loss. He touched so many people with keeping his extended family connected through emails and family history, we will miss his connecting us. My early contact with Moishe was as a flower girl at his wedding to my cousin Hilda some 66 years ago. What a long and full marriage and life. He is leaving us with so many warm memories.
Hilda and family,
My since and deepest sympathies on the passing of Moishe. His energy, zest and love of life brought such joy and happiness to everyone he came in contact with. I’m blessed to have met him over 15 years ago while I was with BMO.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I am so sorry to hear about Moishe. May his memory be a blessing..
The world is a poorer place without Moishe; I’m so glad I had a chance to get to know him. My condolences.
Sending our deepest condolences. I have many fond memories growing up with Hilda and Moishe and getting together and celebrating holidays with the family. May his memory be a blessing.
So sorry to hear about Moishe. He was such a delightful, kind and gentle person. Memories that all of the family have should be a help at this time.
Dear “Aunt” Hilda and family:
Our condolences on your loss. I am very fortunate to have many childhood/teenage memories of “uncle” Moishe. He always kept me honest and he will be missed.
Love the Fajertag’s.
Thinking of all of you. Uncle Moishe was always fun, friendly, interested in our lives and made a mean barbecued salami. We will all miss him. Hope to see you all soon and in better times.
Joel and family
