There will be no formal shiva. There will be a gathering on Sunday July 7, 2019, from 1 pm to 4 pm at 1219 Priory Court, Oakville.
GREENSPAN, Libby (Ablin) May 18, 1929 – June 30, 2019 Libby passed away peacefully early in the morning of June 30th after a seven month illness. She had been at Shalom Village in Hamilton since the beginning of March. Mother of Dr. Michael Greenspan and Barbara Dermer. Much loved Bubby of Brandon and Tara, Nolen, Launi and Glenn, Rivi and Tyler, Mitchell and Lisa, and Gregory and Caroline. Proud Great-Bubby to Josh, Abby, Layla, Harry, Oscar, Theo, Stella, and Emmy. She was a legendary cook and a true “balabusta”. A private burial service was held on July 1st. Family and friends are invited to remember Libby on Sunday, July 7th between the hours of 1:30 and 4:00 p.m. at 1219 Priory Court, Oakville. Donations to Shalom Village in Hamilton, Ontario would be appreciated.
