Gail and Family:
I was shocked to learn of Alex’s passing. I remember him all those years ago as kids, teenagers in Hamilton. May his memory be a blessing for you and I pray that you have wonderful past remembrances of him that will help to sustain you for all time. My heart is with you and your family at this difficult and very sad time. May you his loved ones be comforted with all the Mourners of Zion and Jerusalem and know no more sorrow. Baruch Dyen Emes.

Gail and family – i will always remember how much it was fun to play Sunday morning baseball with Alex. He always had a smile on his face and loved having the family out as his cheering section. He was so genuinely nice and fun to be around. What a huge loss.
I remember my cousin Alex as young bright willy misceveous boy.
On some Saturday afternoons we would go the Victory theatre together with his little sister Annette.
I have reconnected with Annette and Alex and I tried to do so as well. Much to my disappointment we could not yet do so.
Thus for me Alex remains that very engaging young boy not the successful man most see him.
His loss is profound.
Dearest Annette,
Please know that as my most longtime friend I offer you my very sincere sympathy and condolences on the loss your brother Alex who I had known just as long. When I think of him I first picture his face with a mischievous grin and remember him as the prankster from our youth on Nassau Street. Those memories and so many more are not lost when the remembered passes on. They are what sustains us through these most difficult times. They are what nourishes the legacy of the departed when we pass them on to those who knew him in other ways from different times of his life or even knew him not at all as their paths never crossed.
My condolences and sympathy also go out to Alex’s wife Gail and their children at this difficult time.
