It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Jerre Ann Krieger. She was our incredible mother, Grandma, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. She was our sunshine to children Robin, Stephen and Alisa and Tracy and Jonathan Zepp, grandchildren to Zak and Karlie, Dylan, Megan, Noah and Lilly. Jerre is now reunited with her late beloved husband, Morton Krieger. They were the love of each other’s lives since they met at a B’Nai Brith dance when they were 12 years old. For those who knew Jerre, they knew she loved a good celebration with friends and family, especially her Hollybrook friends. She grew up in Niagara Falls, NY with parents Saul and Lilly Weinstein and siblings Ruth, Carol and Marshall. An American girl through and through to the end, she made Canada her home with her best memories at Crystal Beach and in her backyard in Dundas. Her greatest joy was her kids, who were also her best friends, until they had kids, and her grandchildren became her greatest joy. If you were loved by Jerre, you were truly loved.

I just found out about the loss of your mom and bubby, Jerre. I never met her but she sounds she was a wonderful mom, wife, grandma and all around good, warmhearted person. There are never enough good people like your mom. Seval and I would like to extend our deepest condolences in this time of sadness and remembrance. We are never ready to lose a parent but it sounds like she led a very complete and fulfilling life and leaves only good memories for her children, grandchildren, friends and relatives. What more can we ask for?
