It is with great sadness that I write this note to Susan, and her Mother and sister, after learning of the loss of Jack Krieger. His quick smile combined with his very friendly manner, will be a terrible loss to ALL who knew him. My Mother and I send each of you our best at this sorrowful time.
It is such a sad occasion to loose a loved one. Mom and I are sending each of you as much warm love and kindness right now, as you try to make sense of it. We know that you will get through this. He had an amazing ability to include everyone in a conversation and make them all feel as though they had his full and complete attention.
I grew up until I was 10 in Hamilton and spent most if my childhood in the Krieger household. Mr Krieger was the most loving and kind man I ever had the privledge to know. I remember many trips to Stoney Creek Dairy. I also fondly remember the nickname JoyJoy he gave me. My love and prayers are with Shelley, Sue and Mrs Krieger.
Jack was a wonderful man and a fine gentleman with a great sense of humour. He was my life insurance agent since 1971 but, more important, a friend. My wife and I were always amazed when he would send a card from “Uncle Jack” with a loonie attached to it to each of our five kids on their birthdays. We will always remember Jack with fondness. My sincere condolences to Anne and his daughters.
We are privileged to have known Jack Krieger and benefitted from his wonderful character, loving embrace of family, friends, and life, his humor and wit, and great wisdom. We extend our sincerest sympathies to his family … our thoughts and best wishes are with you from afar. The Arbel Family, Jerusalem, Israel.
