KUMER, Molly April 1, 1935 – August 3, 2017 Surrounded by the love of her family, Molly (Waxman) Kumer passed peacefully, with grace and dignity, on August 3, 2017 at the Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario. Beloved and devoted wife of 60 years to Sheldon Kumer, loving and cherished mother of Brian Kumer (Rhonda Zaretsky) and Tracey Kumer and adored “Bubbie” of Brooke and Taylor Kumer. Molly is the youngest of, and the last of nine, Waxman siblings that pre- deceased her: Sam, Sylvia, Davey, Lilly, Eva, Morris, Chester and Helen. She leaves behind so many dear relatives and great friends who gave her such joy and she will be dearly missed by all of them. Our sincerest thanks to all the doctors, nurses and caregivers at the Juravinski Cancer Centre and Juravinski Hospital for the very special care given to Molly. May her memory always be a blessing. At United Hebrew Memorial Chapel of Hamilton, 28 Ewen Road service will be at 12 noon on Friday, August 4, 2017. My deepest sympathies to all of you – just heard the news. Molly was such a vibrant fixture in our Dundas Jewish community and I have such fond memories of our youth and your famous parties on Terrace Drive! May she rest in peace!
