Funeral will be held at the United Hebrew Memorial Chapel, 28 Ewen Road, Hamilton at 1:00 pm on Sunday October 16th, 2022.
Interment at the Stanley Sobol Beth Jacob Cemetery, 1400 Snake Road, Burlington, ON.
Shiva will take place at 9 Crawford Court in Dundas at the following dates/times:
Tuesday October 18th from 7 to 9 PM
Wednesday October 19th from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM
Thursday October 20th from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM
Friday October 21st from 3 to 5 PM
Sunday October 23rd from 2 to 5 PM
Services Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 7:30 PM
Please note: At the Chapel we encourage full Covid vaccinations and require your use of a mask at all times in the Chapel. Our policies support the staff of UHMC, our guests and the community. At graveside, masks and social distancing (6′) unless you are of the same household are also encouraged. For those that wish to participate in the mitzvah of Kevura, gloves must be worn.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Orlander in Hamilton, Ontario on Friday, October 14, 2022. Beloved husband and best friend of Harriet, adored father of Margaret and Paul (Helayna Shekter), cherished grandfather of Emma, Joanna, Warren, Ethan and Sydney. Michael was a blessing to all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Funeral was held on Sunday, October 16 in Hamilton. Shiva dates/times at website of United Hebrew Memorial Chapel of Hamilton. If desired, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of your choosing.
