I am so sorry that I won’t be able to attend in person tomorrow, but know that my heart is with you all.
Maybe tomorrow I can find a nice place to stop for some silver dollar pancakes in Phil’s honour (but they could never be as good). I think I was about 8 years old when he let me “drive” the VW Beetle at the top of Blackwood crescent (we sat in his lap and held part of the steering wheel and all thought we were driving)! Too many memories to recount on here. Fancy watches; cars no one has ever heard of before (Peugeot, for example), 10 million jokes. Always a new one every time I saw him. The only person I knew with their own darkroom. He was one of a kind and will be sorely missed by many. May his memory always be for a blessing to you all
Love,
Leslie

So many fun memories. I still have the wafer thin copper penny, that Phil made happen magically, by mixing potions behind the counter at Main Street pharmacy.
To the many Chinese dinners on Sunday night at the pagoda, to several family vacations, we always had the best of times.
We are so sorry for your loss, and we hope the memories comfort you in the days to come.
