Doris died peacefully and gracefully in her home. In her last weeks she was always surrounded by her children grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She will be reunited with the love of her life Richard who died in 2016.
This vivacious woman will be achingly missed by her children Tom and Robin, Judy and George and Dan and Kelly as well as her grandchildren, their spouses and 11.9 great grandchildren as she loved to tell everyone.

Doris was a grand lady with a beautiful smile, wonderful sense of humour and a cheeriness that changed the moments into times of joy. She was intelligent, well-spoken and often had an opinion on all sorts of topics. She spoke her mind when others sat silent.
She was a dear to work with and be around.
We will remember all the wonderful times we spent together with FARMKIT
You were a blessing to know and love, Doris!

To the entire Popper family, We are so sorry for your loss. Doris was a wonderful person whom we had the pleasure of calling our friend. She always talked about her grandchildren and great children and how proud she was of them, always stressing how important her family was to her. A great lady who will be missed.

And family
I’m very sorry to hear this sad news. Mrs. Popper was a friend to our family for 65-70 years first as wonderful neighbour when our families lived on English Church Road and then we remained friends after we had moved. She was a lovely person that we are glad to have known and that we will miss. I extend our condolences to the Popper family
Our deepest condolences on the loss of a great woman. We will miss her dearly.
My sincere condolences to you all!
I feel privileged in serving her and meeting most of her loved family and am all the more richer for it!
Much strength to you all!
We will miss seeing Doris walking down the street and chatting with her. It was evident how much she cared for her family in our conversations and how proud she was of all of you. We were fortunate to know and talk to her. Our sincere condolences to the entire Popper family.
Dear Popper family,
Frank and I loved Doris as one of the family. An amazing woman and we had lots of fun in Cuba, many times. She would swim so far out and Richard would say, “don’t worry I have my eye on her, she is a great swimmer”. Theirs was a true love story, and now they are reunited. Although she is gone there is a peacefulness in our hearts for her. Gone but never forgotten.
Adele Furlanetto.
We were so fortunate to have met her…Our deepest sympathy Abe and Edith
A lovely lady. She will be missed
To know Doris was to love her. She loved her family deeply and always had a story about her grandchildren to share. She was quite the character.
I was one of her many friends at aqua fit and I will miss her for sure.
