Shiva will take place at the Rubenstein residence, 2137 Canterbury Drive, Burlington, ON, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm with services at 7:30 pm. Final Service will be on Monday evening April 4th.
RUBENSTEIN, Norma (nee Klapman) At Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington after a lengthy illness on Monday, March 28, 2016 at the age of 74. Beloved wife of Michael for 52 years. Loving mother of Mitchell (Nina) and Raeshelle (Jerry). Cherished Bubby of Max, Joshua, Lily, and Brody. She is survived by her sisters Nancy, Gwen, Fern and brother Joey. Predeceased by her parents Max and Faye Klapman. Norma loved life and will be remembered for her strong commitment to her family, her faith and her friends. A special thanks to the staff of 4 East at Joseph Brant Hospital for their care, compassion and patience. Funeral will be held at United Hebrew Memorial Chapel, 28 Ewen Rd., Hamilton, on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Beth Jacob Cemetery, Burlington. Shiva will be observed at 2137 Canterbury Drive, Burlington, at 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Services at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Norma loved to sing and celebrate with her family and friends. Norma rest in peace. We all love you so very much ❤ many hugs and kisses.
Norma will be greatly missed. She was a ‘Mama’ to many of us. Mitchell and Shelley – you honoured her so beautifully today. Michael – your love and commitment to Norma have been inspiring. We pray for G_d’s richest comfort for all of you.
