It is with deep sadness we mourn the passing of Lillian Silverstone on Monday, May 26th, 2025.
Beloved wife to Sam for 73 years (deceased 2023). Lillian will be lovingly remembered by her children Howard and Susan, Marlene and Sheldon. Proud Bubbie to Dan and Debbie, David and Charlie, Eryn and Brandon and Jacqueline and Austen. A loving Great Bubbie to Lily Ruth, Lily Ava, Livia, Charlie and Henry. Dear Sister to the late Sonia, Harvey, Dorothy and the late Allan.
Lillian was a caring and loving person who always thought family first over everything else…she lived a long and fulfilled life and will always be admired for her love of family, strong spirit and her bright mind until her last days.
A big thank you to her wonderful caregiver Liza. They shared a special caring and loving bond lasting three years. Also thank you to Rabbi Selevan and to the Shalom Village staff who cared for her so well at her residence. We will all miss her.
Donations to Shalom Village will be appreciated.
Dearest Marlene and Sheldon , Howard and Susan, all your children and grandchildren. Dorothy and Harvey,
Your darling mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, dear Lillian, was a very special lady indeed. The very first cousin of the Golberg clan, and one of the few females of this special club of cousins.
Lillian was a treasure trove of family information, always interested in what everyone was up to, in a non-meddling caring way. She was ever- present at family events, along with her living spouse Sam, offering support when needed. She was always kind, pleasant and gentle-mannered.
Over the course of my life, we connected intermittently over the years, which means she was always there.
Rest in peace, dear Lillian.
