Funeral will be held at The United Hebrew Memorial Chapel of Hamilton, 28 Ewen Road<\/a>, on Thursday, March 16th, at 1:30 pm<\/p>\n Cemetery: \u00a0Beth Jacob Cemetery, 1250 Snake Road, Burlington<\/a>, ON<\/p>\n Shiva: \u00a0Shiva will be at the home of Elaine and Leon Genesove, 65 Tangreen Circle, Thornhill, <\/a>Ont. LEBOW, Raye. In her 99<\/span>th<\/span><\/sup><\/span> year, at Baycrest Apotex. Predeceased by her husband Abe. Survived by her five children Ken (Rena), Lorne (Susan), Elaine Genesove (Leon), Charles (Chana) of Jerusalem, and Steven, by her sister-in-law Miriam Lebow, by her <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>13 grandchildren Yoni, Jason, Jeremy, Avihayil (Rochel), Simcha, Levi, Hillel, Yehuda (Cyvia), Shmuel (Naomi), Eliana (Akiva), Sara Bracha, Naomi Rina, and Shoshana, and by her three great grandchildren Tehila, Nava and Zahava. Raye lived in Hamilton for seventy years, where she developed many strong friendships and contributed immensely as a tireless volunteer to Beth Jacob Synagogue Sisterhood and many other Jewish causes. She will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews for her dedication to the extended family and as a devoted daughter-in-law to the late Lena Shapiro.
