Beloved wife of the late Dr. Jacob (Jack) Shekter. She will be deeply missed by her children Lee (Alicia), Michael (Judi) and Helayna (Paul). Bubbie Sonia will be remembered with love by her nine grandchildren Jacob, Dylan and Eric; Josh, Charlie and Jamie; Joanna, Ethan and Sydney; as well as her sister Marie (Amos), brother Harold (Esther) and her many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephews. Funeral Wednesday, September 12th at 11 a.m. at United Hebrew Memorial Chapel in Hamilton, 28 Ewen Road. Interment at Beth Jacob Cemetery in Hamilton. Shiva Wednesday and Thursday at 88 Bertram Drive, Dundas, Ontario; Friday and Sunday, 116 Glenayr Road, Toronto.
