KESSLER, Sydney<\/strong> – Passed away\u00a0\u00a0on Sunday night, March 7, 2021, cause of death unrelated to COVID. Dear son of the late Hyman and Celia Kessler. Beloved husband of Ellen. Loving father and father-in-law of Jacob and Janice, and Isaac. Zaide of Ariella Sarah, Ana Miriam, and Asher Michael.\u00a0 <\/span>Dear brother and brother-in-law of Michael, David, Carol, and Lisa. Graveside funeral\u00a0will be held on March 9, 2021 at 11:00 am EST at the\u00a0Beth Jacob Cemetery,\u00a01250 Snake Road<\/a>, Burlington.<\/p>\n

Due to current COVID restrictions, prayer services<\/strong> with Kaddish will be held at Tiferet Israel Congregation, located at\u00a0756 Sheppard Ave. West, Toronto, Ontario Canada M3H 2S8 .<\/div>\n
Morning services will be held at 7:15 am EST on\u00a0Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Monday. Sunday\u00a0morning services will be held at 8 am EST. Evening services will be held starting at 5:30 pm EST on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday.<\/div>\n
Maximum of 10 men are permitted to attend. Please contact Jacob Kessler at jacob@jkco.ca<\/a> or 416-520-5900 if interested to participate.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Anyone is welcome to arrange visits at the shiva home<\/strong> with the family. Due to COVID restrictions, please use the booking service here<\/a> to schedule a slot, as we cannot have large groups of people congregating inside the family’s home at this time.<\/div>\n

Memorial donations<\/strong> may be made to National Advertising Benevolents Society<\/a>, which Syd co-founded, and the Ontario Medical Foundation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Please note:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0In an effort to avoid the spread of the COVID-19 virus, graveside services will be limited to a maximum of 50 persons (including Clergy) for the safety of mourners, funeral home and cemetery staff.\u00a0 Social distancing 2m (6\u2032) is required unless you are of the same household.\u00a0 For those that wish to participate in the mitzvah of Kevura, gloves must be worn.\u00a0 Names and phone numbers will be requested.\u00a0 Thank you for your cooperation.<\/p>\n
