Funeral will be graveside on June 15th, 2021, at 1:00 pm at the Adas Israel Cemetery, 575 Old York Road<\/a>, Burlington<\/p>\n Please note:<\/strong> \u00a0In an effort to avoid the spread of the COVID-19 virus, graveside services will be limited to a maximum of 50 persons (including Clergy) for the safety of mourners, funeral home and cemetery staff.\u00a0 Masks must be worn, covering the nose and mouth,<\/strong><\/em> and social distancing 2m (6\u2032) is required<\/strong><\/em> unless you are of the same household.\u00a0 For those that wish to participate in the mitzvah of Kevura, gloves must be worn.\u00a0 Names and phone numbers will be requested.\u00a0 Thank you for your cooperation<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ilana Pekar.<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0Following a brief battle with cancer Ilana passed away peacefully in her sleep, on the morning of Saturday June 12, 2021. It is comforting to know that she was not in pain and that her loved ones had the opportunity to be with her during her last days. Ilana leaves behind Arie, Joy, Benny, Breanna, Josh, Keri and Marty Pekar, Ramona and Joyce Kramer and many friends who loved her like family. \nFollowing her wishes, a private graveside service will be conducted at the Adas Israel Cemetery, on Tuesday June 15, 1:00pm.
