East, Hamilton<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Loving father to Samantha (Geoff), Washington DC; Cindy (Gord), Oakville; and Bill (Karen), Toronto. Devoted Grandpa to Athena, Erica, Max, Brianna and Mandi.\u00a0 Dear brother and brother-in-law to the late Carole and Murray Rice. Loved Uncle to his nephews, Harley, Bobby and Sandy.<\/p>\n<p>John was born in Hamilton to May and Louis Bloom. He raised his family in Oakville where he became a successful and highly respected businessman in the automotive industry.\u00a0 \u00a0 In 1991 he met his partner, Linda Beitchman. Together, they shared many wonderful memories.\u00a0 Along with celebrating and supporting his children&#8217;s successes, he doted on his grandchildren and was involved in every aspect of their lives.\u00a0 John had an unmeasurable zest for life. He revelled in travelling the world. Later in life, he enjoyed spending time at his condo in Fort Lauderdale. John loved the theatre, live events and social gatherings and would take in as many activities as he possibly could.\u00a0 He enjoyed having his family and friends near and always looked forward to visits, regardless of the occasion.<\/p>\n<p>John has left a huge void in the lives of all he touched.
