TICK, Theodore Passed away after a brief illness on Friday, January 20, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, in his 81st year. He was the son of the late Rae and Jack Tick; the loving brother and brother-in-law of Stan and Liz, Marilyn and Bernie. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Jackie and Kevin Barwin, Howard, and Michelle (Fuss) and Rob; and great-nieces and nephews: Meredith and Zach Barwin, Gavin and Shane Tick, Avery, Lily, and Bella Tick. Theodore was a resident of Beth Tikvah – a home for developmentally challenged adults for over 20 years and recently moved to Shalom Village, where he lived happily until the time of his recent illness. The family wish to thank the staff of Beth Tikvah, Shalom Village and the 4th floor Clinical Teaching Unit for the wonderful care they all gave Theodore. Funeral services will be held at the United Hebrew Memorial Chapel, 38 Ewen Road, Hamilton on Monday, January 23rd at 12 noon. Shiva will be at 693 Woodhaven Place, Ancaster from Monday through Thursday from 7:00-9:00 p.m with services at 7:30 p.m. Memorial donations to: Shalom Village, Beth Tikvah, or St. Joseph’s Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
