FARKAS, Ada (nee Minster) On Thursday, December 5, 2019, Ada Farkas passed away. She was in her 97th year. Ada was predeceased by her dear husband, Elmer Farkas z”L (2010). She will always be lovingly remembered by her children, Maureen (Jerome), Linda (Gerry), and Joe (Janet) and her grandchildren and her great grandchildren: Robin, Jill (Jeff), Miriam, Jonathan (Chris), Michael (Vanessa),Emily (Emanuele), Elie, Aylee, Noa, Nava, Liat, Rhys, Lucy, Clark, Harrison, Alice. Ada inspired everyone with her smile and hands that reached out lovingly to each person she met. We are especially grateful to Rose who was so devoted to her for many years. Thank you to everyone who cared for Ada and who were her friends. She will be greatly missed. Donations in Ada’s memory may be made to Shalom Village Charitable Foundation and/or to The Alzheimer Society of Hamilton. Funeral was on Sunday, December 8. Private Shiva. May her memory be for a blessing.

Auntie Ada was a huge part of my growing up years. She was the kindest and sweetest person that I’ve ever met. I will miss her greatly and she will forever remain in my heart.
