Funeral will take place at the United Hebrew Memorial Chapel, 28 Ewen Road, Hamilton, on Friday June 30th, at 1:00 pm
Interment to follow at the Adas Israel Cemetery, 575 Old York Road, Burlington.
Suddenly and with heavy hearts, we announce the tragic loss of Danny Katz, loving and cherished husband of Susan Findlay. Devoted son of Bernie and the late Rhoda Katz. Brother of Benjy and Georgina, the late Jocelyn, and Larry. Uncle to Amanda and Jordana. Son-in-law of Harvey and the late Joan Findlay, brother-in-law of Michael Findlay. He will be missed by all his extended family, including his aunts and uncles whom he loved very much. Danny will always be remembered as a person who was compassionate and looked out for those in need. He will be missed dearly.
The family will sit shiva at 20 Mayfair Crescent, in Hamilton, following the interment and on Sunday through Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Prayer services at 7:15 pm.
May the Almighty console the family among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

I am so saddened to learn of Danny’s passing. I have such fond memories of him. While I have not spoken to him in many years, I’m sure he retained his kind hearted nature that I remember from my youth. My condolences to the family.

Dear Bernie, Benjie, Larry and family. My mother and I were shocked and saddened to hear of Danny’s sudden passing. This was absolutely heartbreaking news to hear. While I had not spoken to Danny in years, I have such fond memories of our time together at the University of Western, it seems like just yesterday. He was such a wonderful guy and I’ve been thinking of him and how tragic this is all week. My deepest condolences to all of you.
