KLIGMAN, Harriette (December 25, 1948 – March 25, 2026)

Harriette Kligman, much loved wife of Jack Kligman (predeceased August 2021), passed away peacefully at Shalom Village on Wednesday March 25, 2026, with her daughter and son by her side.

She is predeceased by her parents, Sonia and Milton. Harriette is lovingly remembered by her children Belinda & Sandy; her daughter-in-law, Danielle; and her son-in-law, Stuart. She was the cherished Bubbie to her two grandsons Harrison & Charlie, who brought her immense pride and joy.

Harriette was the much-loved sister & sister-in-law of Anne & Jack Aronson (both predeceased) & Fagel & Don Reifler (both predeceased). She was a devoted aunt to JJ (Amy) Reifler, Nancy Turken, Sharon (Barry) Rosenberg, Alan (Liza) Reifler, and was dearly loved by her many great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as by cousins on both the Korman and Abramson sides of the family.

Harriette’s greatest joy in life was her family & friends. She shared a particularly close bond with her sisters throughout her life. Known for her strong spirit and caring nature, she left a lasting impression on all who knew her. In her younger years, she balanced a full time career while raising her children in a loving and structured home. Even in her final days, she remained determined and independent, always clear about how she wanted things done, and never hesitant to share her wishes with those caring for her.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Berisha, Lissette, Lucy, Julie, Vinia, and the entire PSW team of Gould House, 2nd floor, at Shalom Village, for their compassionate care, especially in her final days.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shalom Village, 70 Macklin Street North, Hamilton.
