Gwen passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, April 18th, 2025. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 68 years, Harvey.
Beloved mother of Debbie and Joe, Jeff and Jane. Gwen was an extraordinary Bubby to her grandchildren, Jordan (Lauren), Zachary (Aish), Alicia (Derek), Shelby (Jack), Jay and Nicole (Conrad). Proud Great Bubby to Ezra, Eli and Parker. Devoted sister to Ted Spevick. Gwen’s life was filled with things close to her heart books, travel, Mahjong and of course, family and friends.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Margaret’s Place Hospice for their care and kindness.
Funeral will take place graveside on Monday, April 21st, 2025 at 11:0 am, Temple Anshe Shalom Cemetery, 427 Limeridge Road East, Hamilton.
Shiva will commence Monday to Wednesday evening. Evening services only, at 77 Governors Road – Suite 409, Dundas, Ontario.
Memorial donations to Margaret’s place hospice or to the charity of your choice.

To the entire Schwab family I am so so sorry for your loss . Gwen was such a wonderful person and so much a part of my childhood being that Gewn and Harvey were so close to my parents it feeks lije it was only yesterday .
