Ahuva was a woman ahead of her time. She was wise, kind and inclusive. She once invited me- a non Hebrew to her home. Others in her company questioned why. Ahuva called me her friend and it was her right to have me join. I admired her strength of conviction and love for her family.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Ahuva. I remember her intelligence, wit, and warmth when I was a member of Beth Jacob Synagogue in Hamilton where I got to know her and Sam. May her memory be for a blessing.
