  1. Joanne and Stan and family:

Baruch Dayan Emes. I’m saddened to learn of your mom’s death, Joanne. I haven’t seen you and Stan in years and pray that your memories of your mom will help to sustain you throughout the years.
I’m sure you gave her much to be proud of and lots of nachos. Try to have a meaningful kosher Pesach V’Samaech and your mom will be with you there just in another but equally important dimension. May you be comforted with all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem and know no more sorrow.

  2. Dear Hoffman family,
I was so saddened to hear the news of Frances’ passing–I only found out yesterday. I knew her from my former apartment building, and she was a very fine lady! May the good memories and lovely photos (some of which I saw there) serve to comfort you at this sad time. HaMakom Yenachem Etchem b’toch She’ar Aveilei Tzion v’Yerushalayim.

  3. Dear Joanne, Stan and Family: News of your mother’s passing has brought much sadness to alot of people who had the privilege of knowing your mother. Please accept my deepest condolences now. I think back many, many years ago, with such warm memories, when your parents stayed with Chuck and me for Avi’s bar mitzvah. She was warm, loving, elegant, dignified, and wonderful to be with.
