  1. I wanted to give my heartfelt sympathies to everyone who knew Ruth and Harry Hotz. I was fortunate to spend time with them as they were my stepfather’s parents. They were always very welcoming and very caring. Grandma Ruth always sent me a birthday card without fail and always cared for our family all the way until the end. I was honored to be a pall bearer at her funeral and witnessed touching speeches by each of the 6 Hotz children that commemorated her life. She will be missed by many people.

  5. To all the Hotz Children,

I am so sorry to hear about your mother’s passing. She and your father were two of my parents’ closest friends. And my mother and your mother were such great girlfriends. I loved watching them together – so funny and spirited and happy in each others’ company. Personally, I cannot think of Ruth Hotz without smiling. She was wonderful. May her memory be a blessing.

  6. Dear Hotz ‘Children’,

Your mother was a lovely person. Warm, friendly, generous. A perfect complement to Harry. She will be missed. My condolences to you all.

  7. So sorry for your loss.
Your father was my Doctor back in the day and your mom was just a lovely person- a real lady, always smiling whenever we’d meet.
May you be comforted by happy memories.

  8. Saddened to learn of Mrs. Hotz’ passing. She and Dr. Hotz’ were close and dear lifelong friends of my parents Sid and Anne Halpern. Along with the Mindens and the Baskins they formed a wonderful “foursome” couple who enjoyed so many good times together, including summer trips to Stratford and Shaw. Ruth and Harry even looked after my son Ira when he was an infant at Dr. Hotz’ Hamilton famous office. A wonderful lady who will be missed!
