Dear Kam and Laskin family
So many memories of both families, Paradise Rd is where it started, Beverly Hills it continued. Jakki, I will never forget the ultra modern navy blue Jean couch that your Mom bought in Beverly Hills, first sectional I’m sure. The sunshine Barbie dolls and then the happy family. Your mom always had the nicest perfume and was dressed so hip! Nikki and Suzanne babysitting me and the fun festivals Sue would have on Paradise Rd. Exploring in the field behind the house and sitting for hours on the porch stairs on hot summer days. So many great times and I was so lucky to continue friendship with Jakki.
Take comfort in your memories, loving family that has always been very strong and know the bond you will always hold dear.

My condolences to the Kam family. Jody, I have so many treasured memories of your mom – her mauve crinoline you wore as a dress when we played make-believe, the Barbie doll clothes she made for your dolls, the daily peanut butter and jam sandwiches, her thick green shampoo, the huge bowls of cherries she’d have out in the summer, and the summer night drives she’d take us on to Dundas Dairy for ice cream. Pretty sure I remember she had a convertible. The list goes on.
