KATZ, RHODA    We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Rhoda Katz on Saturday, January 16th. Beloved wife of Bernie Katz for 61 years. Loving mother and mother-in-law to Benjy and Georgina, the late Jocelyn, Danny and Susan, and Larry. Devoted grandmother of Amanda and Jordana. Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Shirley and Ben Zener, the late Hildred and Murray Green, Cuppy and Elaine Katz and Helen Greenbaum and the late Herbie Greenbaum. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews – Steven, Jane, Donna, Ron, Mark, Audrey, Heather, Joanne, Natalie, Ian, David, Roberta, Caroline and Reuben and was loved by those no longer with us; David, Benjy and Jeff.

Rhoda had a special zest for life who loved being with her family and her great circle of friends. An accomplished artist, Rhoda painted and studied watercolours her entire life and her artistic flair was always evident in her style, baking and family simchas. Her caring spirit knew no bounds, Rhoda was involved in many Jewish charitable causes, and was a role model of someone who lived their life with integrity, dignity and compassion. Her passing leaves a deep void in all our hearts but her memory will be a blessing.

A private graveside service will be held on Monday, January 18th. To participate in the livestream, please click here http://www.mgxproductions.com/stream/katz/ Private shiva to follow.
