A Chapel service will take place on Monday June 16, 2025, 1:00pm at the United Hebrew Memorial Chapel, 28 Ewen Road, Hamilton.   Interment to follow at the Stanley Sobol Beth Jacob Cemetery, 1400 Snake Road, Burlington.  A Meal of Condolence to follow interment at Beth Jacob Synagogue, 375 Aberdeen Avenue, Hamilton.

The Beth Jacob Family mourns the passing of long-time member, employee & volunteer Hanna Schayer z”l.

Our heartfelt condolences to her beloved husband Carl Cuneo, daughters Sara & Nomi (Eric), grandsons Amiel & Henry, brother Norman (Evelyn) and many loved ones.

Shiva Details

Location – 52 Albert Street, Dundas.

Dates & Times – Services at Shiva house at 9:00am Tuesday, June 17th to Friday, June 20th & Sunday, June 22nd and at 7:15pm Monday, June 16th to Thursday, June 19th. The Shiva house will be open to guests Monday, June16th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and from Tuesday, June 17th to Thursday, June 19th from 3:00pm to 5:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

Donations in memory of Hanna can be made to Magen David Adom or Hamilton Jewish Services.

She lived the love, peace and social equality that made her such a force in the Hamilton and Beth Jacob community, and in the hearts of all those who were blessed to know her.
