  1. Dear Jacques, Clareta, Ashley, Lee and children.
Saddened and shocked at the sudden passing of Marilyn. My memories are those of a shared Hamilton childhood. Play dates at her house on DesJardines as young girls. Always a warm hug from Anne and something good to eat. Enjoying the mischief and antics of our classmates at Beth Jacob Hebrew School. Our shared Bat Mitsvah group. Marilyn was a genuine and kind hearted person as a kid, and remained so as a woman. Condolences to your family.

  2. Dear Ashley
I am 71 and left hamilton when I was 14. As such I knew your mom and my brother Brian knew her very well many years ago.
Maybe there is no coincidence in life. On a number of occasions I knew people who looked after elderly parents for many years and then soon after the elderly parent passed the child passed as happened with your mother. I hope this gives you comfort knowing that maybe your mom was called home by her mother knowing on the other side of the veil existence for the soul is incredible.
Ultimately we will all come to know the truth, I hope for your mom eternity is wounderful. God’s strength.

  3. Ashley, Lee, Sadie, and Charlie,

I am so sorry for your deep loss. I’ve been thinking a lot about Marilyn over these past few days and the wonderful, kind person she was. In my last memory of her, she was so full of pride for you all, especially sweet Sadie and Charlie.

May her memory be a blessing.

  5. Dear Jacques, Clareta & Family … so saddened & shocked to hear of Marilyn’s passing! I am so sorry for this great loss. I have such vivid memories of Marilyn going way back to 1971, when I moved across the street & became an adopted part of the Schoenberg Family. Marilyn was a fantastic “big Sis” to me and many others in our lil Westdale hood. I will cherish all the memories flooding into my mind, these last few days. Your shared + many additional memories will certainly help you navigate the future, without Marilyn physically near. Big hugs! … Brian Yff (Edie too)
