A graveside funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 25th, 2023, at 2:30 PM at the Temple Anshe Sholom Cemetery, 427 Limeridge Road East, Hamilton, L9A 2S8.

On April 23rd, 2023 at the Hamilton General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, Danny left us far too soon. Cherished son of Helene (Estrin) and the late Murray Wertman. Devoted father and father-in-law of Michael (Becky), Eden Fichman (Erran), Zach and Brittney, and beloved brother to Julie (John) Snider, Sam (Cheryl), and Bobby (Jeffrey Stone). Adoring grandfather to Colton and Amelia. Danny will be deeply missed by Liz, Karen and Susanne, shared a special relationship with his Uncle Ernie, and will also forever be missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Danny was a selfless generous man to everyone who knew him. He couldn’t do enough for his family and friends, and his kindness knew no bounds.

We are beyond sorrow over the loss of Danny. We loved his humour, his kindness and his generosity of spirit. I have fond memories of him when we spent time with the family as kids in St. Catherines. We celebrated at a simcha in Israel together only a few years ago. Our hearts go out to all of the family. We wish you strength and love. May his memory be a blessing and may his neshuma have an aliya.
