Sunday after the funeral and 7-9pm,
Monday to Thursday 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
Evening services at the Shiva home, daily at 7:30pm.
Morning services will take place at Beth Jacob Synagogue, 375 Aberdeen Ave, Hamilton:
Monday and Thursday at 7:30, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 7:45.

SWAYE, Rochelle (Ruchel) It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Rochelle (Ruchel) Swaye z”l, after a long, valiant battle with illness. Rochelle was 71 years old. Rochelle was loved by everyone who knew her. She was the adored wife of 50 years to Gerald Swaye QC; beloved mother to Jason (Terry), Adam (Tanya), Marlyz and Jenna; Bubbie to Ryan and Erin; and loved by so many cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Harold Applebaum, her parents Nissie and Thelma Applebaum, and her grandparents Shima and Esther Boom. Shiva will take place at the Swaye home, 19 Robinhood Drive, Dundas: Monday to Thursday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Evening services at the Shiva home, daily at 7:30 p.m.

I am truly saddened to hear about Rochelle’s passing. Some memories of a person are indelible, and so it is with Rochelle as she was a shining light. On my regular visits to your special house I would regularly sit and chat with Rochelle, and as she baked, we would listen to music & sing while I often played with Jason, Adam, Muffin & Jenna & your dog Charlie. Rochelle was always kind & caring to me , and a great wife and mom to all of you. May beautiful memories keep your hearts warm, and your spirits strong.
